Wu was the Vice Dean of Shanghai Mechanical & Electrical Design and Research Institute (Coating Engineering), as well as a senior engineer. She has engaged in Coatings Industry for more than 30 years, specialized in Coating Engineering Design & Management. In charge of the Coating Industry Cleaner Production Evaluation Index System, AQ5215 Paint Booth Safety Performance Testing Method,  AQ series of Coating Engineering Safety Design Specifications, GB14444 Coating Safety Regulations & Spray Booth Safety Technical Regulations, GB14443 Coating Operation Safety Regulations/ Dry Room Safety Technical Regulations, GB15607 Coating Operation Safety Regulations/ Powder Electrostatic Spraying Process Safety and many other standards.
